Honor Mr. Reddick's Legacy at Harlem Link

Support the John Reddick Community Garden and After All Program
Mr. Reddick was a founding board member, founding director of our after school program, keeper of our garden, regular donor, and Harlem Link staff member who spent every day from early in the morning to late in the evening caring for our students and alumni for 18 years. John Reddick embodied the core values of Harlem Link Charter School.
This fund is dedicated to keeping John’s legacy strong at Harlem Link by sustaining two projects nearest to John’s heart: After All and the John Reddick Community Garden.
John envisioned and founded our free after school program which now serves over 100 students and families each year. Renamed the John Reddick Community Garden upon his retirement in 2023, our school’s green space was one of the many ways that John connected our students to nature, and instilled lessons that went beyond the classroom. Supporting these two programs will ensure that John’s legacy continues for generations to come.
"You've helped cultivate young people in our community, and I thank you so much, because I used to be one of those young people...You guys fulfill all the dreams a young black person, or an old black person, can do and want for their life... Thank you for caring for our young people, and God bless you all."
