It Starts Here!

Every child is born with unique potential- potential that can be realized with engaging opportunities and holistic learning. All members of our school community- parents, teachers, administrators, and support professionals- work to ensure that Harlem Link students experience belonging, significance, and joy in their academic life.

Please become a member of our learning community by investing in our vision for inclusive student learning and the unique environment and opportunities that we offer our students.

Harlem Link Charter School prides itself on ensuring that all children have access to a world-class education. Our students come to us from across the five boroughs, and unlike many of our peer schools, we welcome children with a wide range of special needs and linguistic abilities. Our customized curriculum targets students' changing needs, and we have two signature programs that support students above and beyond what schools typically provide. These programs include a well-rounded after-school enrichment program, effective middle school placement assistance, and a robust alumni program that assists Harlem Link graduates with college applications and internships while regularly bringing them back to the school, where they find support and mentor the students following in their footsteps.

For current students, we work hard to make learning an adventure. With the help of friends like you, our students have attended "staycation"-style field trips in the form of the Bio Bus, an initiative of Columbia University's Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute that brings the latest in STEM education right to our door. Like the Bio Bus, we're going the extra mile for our students – and it's paying off. Over 50% of our college-aged alumni are enrolled in undergraduate programs, on track to top the national average for all students and, we aim, to shatter the 9% to 15% graduation rate marking the lowest income decile. Our support for students and partnership with parents are making a difference, and we know we can go further with you.

Giving Tuesday comes only once a year. Last year, donations provided crucial support for our after school program, the Harlem Link After All Network. Providing educational enrichment for students and support for their families, this essential piece of Harlem Link's work needs your help once more. We are seeking a total of $40,000 this Giving Tuesday to ensure that After All stays strong for years to come. Help us connect our students to a brighter future! It takes all of us—and we can't do it without you.
